If you're looking at someone on LinkedIn, you don't need to copy their name and look up their company's domain. Paste the profile link, and the finder reads the name and current company from the profile, then finds the work email.
Find an email from a profile
- Open Email finder → Single lookup and choose the LinkedIn URL tab.
- Paste the profile link into LinkedIn profile URL, for example
https://linkedin.com/in/jane-doe. - Optional: tick Resolve catch-all domains.
- Press Find email.
The button reads Resolving… while the profile is read, then the search runs as usual.
What you get
- A profile card with the person's name, current position and company.
- The work email, with its Confidence and Pattern, when one is found.
- A Profile link back to LinkedIn.
- The company's domain intelligence: mail provider, catch-all status, deliverability index and known patterns.
Using the profile helps when people have recently changed jobs: the finder searches the company they work at now, not the one in an old spreadsheet.
What it costs
| Step | Cost |
|---|---|
| Profile found | 10 |
| Email found | 20 |
| Email found on a catch-all domain and confirmed | 25 |
| No profile, or no email found | free for that step |
Catch-all domains. With Resolve catch-all domains on, an email found behind a catch-all domain costs 5 on top of the found email: 20 + 5 = 25. The 25 are held when the search starts. If the email isn't found, they're all given back, so a not-found costs nothing. If the email is found on a domain that didn't need resolution, the extra 5 are given back and you pay 20.
The same person's profile is free again for 30 days. An email you found for the same person at the same domain in the last 180 days is free too.
This lookup doesn't use your connected LinkedIn account and doesn't count toward its daily cap. You don't need to connect LinkedIn to use it.
Many profiles at once
- A file of profile URLs: upload it to the bulk finder and map the LinkedIn URL column. You choose whether everyone is looked up or only the people not found on the domain in your file. See Find emails for a file.
- A Sales Navigator search, a post or an event: capture the people into a lead list with Find emails automatically turned on. See Capture a Sales Navigator search.
When it doesn't work
- Not a profile link. Use the person's profile URL (
linkedin.com/in/…), not a search, post or company page. - No current company on the profile. Without a current position the finder has nowhere to search. Use the Name + domain tab if you know where the person works.
- Not found. Try the Name + domain tab with the company name added. See Why add the company name.
