A popular post keeps collecting likes and comments for days. A post watcher follows one post for 7 days and saves each new person who engages to a lead list, so you catch the late arrivals without capturing the post again and again.
What you need
- The Pro plan or higher. A watcher counts towards your plan's monitor limit. See Monitor limits by plan.
- A connected LinkedIn account.
Start watching
- Copy the post's link on LinkedIn.
- Open Signals and paste it into New monitor: keywords or LinkedIn URL. It's recognised as a post that will track new reactions and comments for 7 days.
- Press Watch. Watch post engagement opens.
- Under Save to, pick a list or New list and name it.
- Choose who to save: Commenters, Likers or both.
- Optional:
- Include people who already engaged: also saves everyone who liked or commented before you started.
- ICP matches only: keeps only people whose headline matches the ICP (shown when you start from a monitor that judges for an ICP).
- Find emails automatically for the people saved.
- Under Advanced: how often to Check, and the Monthly limit in credits.
- Press Watch for 7 days.
You can also start from a monitor's post: press Monitor 7 days under it. The post then shows Watching.
How it checks
With Check on Auto (frequent at first), the watcher checks every hour on the first day, every 6 hours until day 3, then once a day. That follows how engagement usually arrives. You can pick a fixed interval from every 30 minutes to every 24 hours instead.
To check right away, use Refresh now on the watcher, at most once every 10 minutes.
After 7 days the watcher ends by itself. The people it saved stay in the list.
What it costs
| Cost | |
|---|---|
| Each new person found | 10 |
| The same person again within 30 days | free |
| Email found, with Find emails automatically | 20 |
People are charged only within the watcher's monthly limit, 4,000 credits by default (about 400 people). When it's reached, the watcher pauses until next month or until you raise the limit. See The monthly credit limit.
Watching a post only makes sense while it's still getting engagement. For an older post, a one-off capture is enough. See Save people from a post or event.
Where people go
New people are added to the list as they engage, with where they came from: the post, and whether they liked or commented. Leads on your exclusion lists aren't saved.
