Signals monitoring is part of the Pro plan and up. Each plan includes a number of monitors that can exist at the same time.

Credit packs don't unlock signals monitoring, whatever their size: packs cover AI columns and openers. Signals need a Pro plan or higher (or the free LinkedIn trial). Monitors that ran on a pack before this change are paused, not deleted, and resume when you move to Pro or higher. See What each plan unlocks.
What counts
Everything on the Monitors tab that keeps running on its own:
- keyword post, event and job monitors,
- person and company monitors,
- post, event, group and activity watchers.
Paused monitors count, so resuming one never takes you over the limit. Stopped, expired and deleted ones don't.
Saving commenters and likers from a keyword monitor is a setting on that monitor, not a separate monitor, so it doesn't count. Neither do one-off captures, such as Search once or Scrape Leads.
Where you see it
Under the Signals title, a line shows how many you're using, for example 18 of 20 signal monitors on the Pro plan. Near or at the limit, it adds See plans →.
At the limit
When you try to add one more, you'll see that your plan includes N signal monitors and how many you have, with what the next plan allows. To make room:
- Delete a monitor you no longer need, or stop a watcher. Pausing doesn't free a slot.
- Combine keyword monitors that cover similar ground: one monitor can watch several keywords.
- Move to a bigger plan in Credits & billing.
During the free trial
LinkedIn features come with a 2-day free trial from your first connected LinkedIn account. During it, signals monitoring works below Pro too, with up to 3 monitors (paused ones count). The Signals page shows Free trial: 1 of 3 signal monitors, ends in ….
When the trial ends, its monitors pause and show paused · needs Pro, even if you have a credit pack. They resume when you move to Pro or higher. A Starter or Growth plan brings LinkedIn access back, but the monitors stay paused.
After a downgrade
The limit only stops you adding monitors. If you move to a plan with a lower limit, every monitor and watcher you already have keeps running as before; nothing is paused or stopped. You just can't add a new one until you're under the new limit. Below Pro, a monitor you pause can't be resumed.
Without the plan
Below Pro and outside the free trial, the Signals page says Signals monitoring is available on the Pro plan and up, with a link to the plans, and new monitors and watchers can't be created or resumed.
Costs aren't part of the limit
The monitor limit is about how many monitors you run. Watching and flagging posts is free. Saving people who engage is charged per person found, within a monthly credit limit you set on each monitor or watcher. See The monthly credit limit.
