Connect filtrat to Claude (MCP)

The filtrat MCP server lets Claude verify and find emails, save leads from LinkedIn, score lists and watch LinkedIn for you, in plain language. It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and any other client that supports MCP.

1. Create an API key

1. In the app, open API → MCP.
2. Under Key, create a new key (name it Claude, for example) or pick an existing one.
3. Choose your client. The snippet below it is filled in with the server URL and your key, ready to copy.

A new key starts with ak_ and is shown in full only right after you create it. If you pick an older key, the snippet shows only its first characters: replace them with the full key.

2. Add filtrat to Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop connects through a small helper, mcp-remote, which runs with npx. You need Node.js 18 or newer installed.

1. In Claude Desktop, open Settings → Developer → Edit Config. This opens claude_desktop_config.json:
   • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
2. Add filtrat under mcpServers, with your key in place of YOUR_API_KEY. If the file already lists other servers, add the filtrat entry next to them.

3. Save the file and quit Claude Desktop completely, then open it again.

The filtrat tools now appear in the tools menu of a new chat.

Run this in a terminal, with your key in place of YOUR_API_KEY:

Run claude mcp list to check it's connected. For Cursor and other clients, see Connect Cursor or another client.

3. Try it

Ask in plain words, for example:

• "Are these 10 addresses safe to send to?" followed by the addresses.
• "Find the work email of Jane Doe at Acme."
• "Save everyone from this Sales Navigator search into a list called Poland fintech CTOs, with emails."
• "Score my list Benelux CTOs against my ICP and find emails for the strong fits."
• "How many credits do I have left?"

Claude picks the right tool. Lists are addressed by name, so you can say "my list Benelux CTOs". What the tools do lists every tool and its cost.

What it costs

The same as in the app: you pay only for results. For example, 1 per verified or invalid address and 20 per email found. Searching LinkedIn, reading lists and checking your balance are free.

Confirmation for big jobs

Paid bulk actions return a preview first, with the credits each step may cost. Under 5,000 credits, the work starts at once. Over 5,000 credits, Claude shows you the preview and starts only after you confirm. See Previews and confirmation.

Plans

Scoring, targeting, AI questions and outreach openers need the Growth plan or higher. Watching LinkedIn needs Pro or higher (or the 2-day free LinkedIn trial, with up to 3 monitors). A credit pack from $25 covers AI questions and outreach openers only; scoring, targeting and watching need a plan. On a plan without them, Claude tells you which plan includes the feature.
