filtrat stays signed in to LinkedIn with the session you gave it when you connected. LinkedIn ends sessions from time to time. When that happens, you reconnect the account and everything that was waiting on it continues.
How to tell the session has ended
- In Settings → LinkedIn Accounts, the account shows Session expired, reconnect or Disconnected in red, with a Reconnect button.
- Captures using the account pause with Account disconnected.
- Commenting on or messaging from a signal stops with a message that your LinkedIn account needs reconnecting. Nothing is posted.
Why sessions end
- You changed your LinkedIn password.
- You signed out of LinkedIn on all devices, or in the browser you copied a cookie from.
- LinkedIn asked you to verify your identity, or ended the session after a security check.
- The cookie you pasted expired.
None of these mean anything is wrong with your account or with filtrat.
Reconnect
- Open Settings and expand LinkedIn Accounts.
- Press Reconnect next to the account.
- Connect again with your sign-in on the Login tab, or paste a fresh
li_atcookie (andli_afor Sales Navigator) on the Cookie tab. - If LinkedIn asks for verification, approve the sign-in in the LinkedIn app and press Check status, or enter the 6-digit code and press Verify.
When the account shows its name again without a warning, it's connected. See Connect your LinkedIn account for the full steps.
What happens to running jobs
| Job | While disconnected | After you reconnect |
|---|---|---|
| Captures from searches, posts and events | Paused with Account disconnected. People already saved stay in the list. | Continue on their own, where they stopped. |
| Commenting or messaging from a signal | Stopped before anything is posted. | Try the action again. |
| Anything else that reads LinkedIn through the account | Can't use this account. | Uses it again. |
| Email verification and finding | Not affected: they don't use LinkedIn. | Not affected. |
Nothing is charged twice. Work that was already done and paid for isn't repeated.
If another connected account has room left, new jobs on Auto use it in the meantime.
Remove an account instead
If you no longer want to use an account, press the disconnect icon at the end of its row and confirm. Captures that were using it pause until another account is available.
If a session keeps expiring within a day or two, connect with your sign-in instead of a cookie, and don't sign out of LinkedIn in the browser you copied the cookie from.
