Workspaces in the API and MCP

Updated Nov 20261 min read

API keys belong to your account, so one key works for every client. Each call works in one workspace.

API

Add workspace to the query string with the client's name or id:

Terminal
curl "https://api.filtrat.io/v1/sn-contacts/lists?workspace=Acme%20Logistics" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ak_..."
  • Without workspace, the call works in your default workspace.
  • workspace=all reads across every client, like All clients in the app. Use it for reading; create things in one client.
  • An unknown name returns 404 WORKSPACE_NOT_FOUND with the names of your workspaces.

MCP

Tools that work in a client take an optional workspace argument, a name or id. Just tell your AI agent which client to work in, like "capture these leads for Acme Logistics".

Ask it to list your workspaces, or to add a client from a website. Without a workspace, tools work in your default one. Credits are shared, so the credits tool takes no workspace.
