ICPs get better as you learn who buys. When you edit one after scoring lists with it, you don't pay to score everything again: only what changed is checked.
What counts as a change
| You change | What happens to existing scores | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| A star (Important ↔ Normal) | Scores are recalculated from the results already stored. Nothing is checked again | free |
| A criterion's text, or you add one | Rows scored before become outdated. Re-scoring checks only the new or changed criteria | Half the usual price |
| You only remove a criterion | Rows become outdated. Re-scoring recalculates from the results already stored | free |
| Value Propositions (why they choose you, triggers, pains) | Scores don't change: these aren't used by scoring | free |
Re-scoring a row costs half the price of a first score: 15 becomes 7.5 credits, and 5 with your own AI key becomes 2.5. Rows with nothing new to check are free.
Re-score a list
- Open Targeting, select the ICP and open the Scored lists tab.
- Each list shows how many rows are scored and how many are outdated (scored before you changed the ICP).
- Press Rescore. The run checks only the changed criteria on outdated rows.
You can also choose Score a list and pick the same list. The dialog shows how many rows were scored before the change and that only the changed criteria are checked again, along with the most it can cost.
If a list has rows that were never scored (for example, leads added after the last run), the button reads Score the rest instead.
Test your edit first
Before re-scoring a big list, open Test scoring and press Test again. The test reuses earlier results and checks only the new or changed criteria, and it's free. If the verdicts now look right, re-score the list.
Signals after an ICP edit
Monitors that judge posts for this ICP use the new text from the next check. Signals found in the last 7 days were judged with the old version: the ICP shows how many posts that is and a Re-judge button. Re-judging is free. See Add buying triggers and pains.
Tips
- Make several edits, test, then re-score once. Each re-score of a row is charged once, however many criteria changed.
- Changing a description and pressing Update criteria drafts the criteria again, including ones you edited by hand, so some may come back with new wording. Check them before re-scoring.
