filtrat's AI features run on filtrat's own AI by default, with nothing to set up. If you have an account with an AI provider, you can add your own key instead and pay fewer credits for AI work.

Everything else, such as verification, finding and captures, costs the same either way. Your AI provider bills you separately for what your key uses.
AI features need the Growth plan or higher, with or without your own key. See What each plan unlocks.
Add your key
- In the sidebar, open Settings.
- Expand Filtratix Enrichment Agent.
- Choose Bring Your Own Key.
- Pick the Provider and the Model. The recommended model is marked as the default.
- Paste your key into API Key.
- Press Enable AI (or Update if you're changing an existing key).
The section header then shows BYOK, the provider, and whether the key is Valid. If it says Invalid, check the key in your provider's dashboard: it may have been revoked, or the account may be out of quota.
If your key fails
Your key can hit its provider's limits mid-job, or run out of quota. The option If my keys fail, continue with filtrat AI decides what happens then:
- On (the default): the job carries on with filtrat AI, at the normal price for those rows. Nothing is left half done.
- Off: rows that fail with your key are left empty, and you aren't charged for them.
Change or remove your key
- To replace the key, click into API Key, paste the new one and press Update.
- To go back to filtrat AI, choose Managed and save, or press Remove to delete your saved key and settings.
Your key is stored encrypted and is used only for your own AI columns and scoring. It's never shown again in full, only masked.
If the section shows a notice that your account is set to managed mode, your account uses filtrat AI for now. Email support@filtrat.io if you'd like to use your own key.
